Glazed Donuts with Chocolate

Ingredients (for 15 units)
Donuts:

  • 240 ml of liquid milk
  • 2 cts. Instant yeast powder (dry)
  • 100 gr. of sugar
  • ½ tsp. of salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 60 gr. of melted butter (4 tbsp.)
  • 600 gr. of Wheat Flour All Use (4 cups flush)
  • Oil


Glazed:

  • 200 gr. of Sugar Glass or Impalpable
  • 100 gr. of Chocolate in tablet to melt
  • 40 gr. of Butter or Margarine
  • 3 tbsp of water


Preparation
Donuts:

  1. In a bowl, mix the milk, the yeast, the sugar, the salt, the eggs and the butter until well integrated.
  2. Then, integrate the flour with the help of a spatula to form a compact mass.
  3. Take to a flat surface and knead until smooth.
  4. In the same container where the mixture was made, with a brush, pour a little oil and spread well.
  5. Place the dough back into the container and let it rest covered with a cloth for about 1 hour, until it doubles its original size.
  6. Once ready, take it back to a floured flat surface.
  7. With the help of a rolling pin, stretch the dough to a thickness of 1 ½ cm.
  8. To mark the Donuts, use a mold or a round cup according to the size you want in each one; and, with a much smaller one, mark the center that will form the hole.
  9. Repeat the procedure as many times as necessary and bring the Donuts to a previously floured tray.
  10. Let it rest covered with a cloth until they double in size.
  11. Once ready, preheat on average a pan with oil.
  12. With a lot of care, fry each Dough until golden, 50 sec. 1 min. for each side.
  13. Remove from the fire and let stand on absorbent paper.


Glazed:

  1. In a large bowl, melt the chocolate with the Butter in the microwave or Bain Marie. It should never boil.
  2. Then pour half of the sugar little by little and mix well. Add the Water and continue beating. If necessary and want more liquid, adds Water.
  3. Terminate adding the rest of the Sugar and integrates.
