Crepes with Apple and Calvados |
Crepes are a delicious dessert as long as they are filled with the right ingredients. This filling of apple and apple brandy, called Calvados, is a delight.
Crepes with Apple and Calvados Recipe
Ingredients
- 6 crepes
- 6 green apples peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 5 tablespoons of butter
- 1/4 cup of apple brandy calvados
Preparation
- Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the apple and sugar, cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the apples are tender.
- Remove the lid and cook for 10 more minutes until the apples begin to caramelize. Add the Calvados and remove from heat.
- Put 1/4 cup of apple filling in the center of each crepe. Roll the crepe and place in a pyrex to bake.
- Sprinkle some sugar on the crepes and bake for 5 minutes. Serve
Presentation
Accompany the crepes with whipped cream and a bit of calvados.
